Another pond cleanup done yesterday . Snorkelling and free-diving Withrod Pond in Torbay, NL.
Over 15 tires pulled from the bottom of the pond plus other trash and a few interesting items as well.

Just cleaned up these 4 cool bottles from Octagon pond, Paradise and Withrod pond, Torbay. Two of 7up bottles with different bottom embossing and two of Miller BBO (Bottom Bottle Opener).
Withrod pond, Torbay, NL . Another 3 hours of snorkelling and free-diving this beautiful pond. This is the 7th kayak full of items taken off the bottom. Check out the beautiful blue mug. Stay safe everyone.
Three hours of snorkelling and free-diving Withrod pond in Torbay today. This is the 6th kayak load taken from this pond in the 5 years I’ve been doing this. Still more to be done but I’ll get there eventually. A big thank you to all who waved, honked their horns, stopped by at pond side after I came ashore to offer thanks. To the lady who lived nearby who asked if I was hungry for a sandwich that she would bring over and lastly to the three little girls that brought me over a Gatorade and said, “ thanks for cleaning up our pond”. Pond Cleanup #8 for 2020 summer season. 2.5 hours of snorkelling/ free-diving of Withrod Pond in beautiful Torbay after work . This is the third trip to this pond in 4 years continuing with our cleanup of this waterbody from discarded waste from decades past. We will restore it back to where it should be with time and effort
Found this STERLING ring with gold or gold plated face . It’s very thick and we guess it’s a men’s ring . It has someone’s initials embedded into it that we are hiding with a piece of tape hoping the owner sees it and comes forward . Ring was found on the bottom of Withrod pond on Bauline Line Road ( Torbay / St. John’s , NL area ) We found it last summer during one of our Pond Cleanups. Please share to see if we are successful in giving it back to the rightful owner . Thanks
Just cleaned up these two items we pulled from the bottom of Withrod pond in Torbay . One is a 10” marriage plate with the words “ On this day of September ?? 1986 . Blank ? & blank? were joined in marriage . What the God hath joined together let not man put asunder .” The second item is a very old decorative teacup !
Withrod Pond on Bauline Line . Pond cleanup #11 . By far the most garbage we have pulled from bottom yet in one day . Some really interesting finds !! Another great couple of hours snorkelling and cleaning up the bottom of this beautiful pond ! Water is life !
