Here are my results from over 4 hours of snorkelling Mitchell’s Pond North in St. Phillips, NL. Filled my kayak! Recovered a watch, couple pairs of sunglasses, a YETI water bottle to name a few. Share if you like to see if we can find the owners of some of these items:) Stay safe everyone.

Just jumping in Mitchell’s Pond North, St. Phillips, NL to see what garbage I can recover on this gorgeous day. I already see some broken bottles on bottom right near the little beach area on Bennett’s Road . Stay safe everyone.

From the bottom of Mitchell’s pond north in Portugal Cove St. Philips yesterday to our home. The two jars are old wide lipped jam/marmalade with FMF (monogram) embossed on the bottom. The drinking glass as well, cleaned up beautifully to hold my beer

Mitchell’s Pond North . Pond Cleanup # 14 for 2019 season. After the success we had last year with finding a purse that was stolen 17 years ago and tossed in this pond we decided we would give it another go to make it much healthier. We are pleased with our results

Pond Clean up # 9. Mitchell’s pond North on Bennett’s Road , Portugal Cove ; St . Phillips . Some of the more interesting items was an axe , some more old embossed bottles , hubcaps , fishing rods , a fishing reel , hockey pucks . Both an old beta and an old VHS machine. Aluminum shovel, copper wire , two containers of broken bottle glass , fishing lures and other items. We filled both yaks in the rain but at least our families along with all the fish , eels and birds can enjoy a much cleaner and litter free bottom !

As a follow up to our Pond Cleanup # 9 in Mitchell’s Pond we had found a ladies purse and wallet and after all weekend trying to locate her today we were successful . Apparently her purse got stolen over 15 years ago and it’s been sitting on the bottom of the pond for that long until we discovered it Friday . All her 20 plus personal identification cards was in there . She was thrilled and we are so happy to have given her back her personal items .
