A day spent backpacking at Lance Cove Beach, CBS, NL recently. Lots of trash and a few very interesting finds. Another few hours to spare recently so another beach combing cleanup. This time I was on the shoreline of Lance Cove, in Upper Gullies, C.B.S, NL. Even managed to drag back to my rig a huge plastic gas tank that appears to have been rolling around on the rocks for years ! Stay safe and if your out beachcombing take along a reusable bag or two and together we can keep our environment clean. Every bit helps

Spent a couple of hours on two separate days beach combing out in Conception Bay South . My wife and I on one trip and Jay and myself on the second. We covered an area from Lance Cove Pond in Lance Cove all the way up to the Cronin’s Head Treatment Facility on Pond Road in Keligrews. This is a section of beach that’s adjacent the old train tracks which is now a part of the Grand Concourse ! Beautiful scenery !
